Perfectus Biomed are excited to announce that we have agreed in principle to a merger with a US-based laboratory that specialises in customisable tissue models. The merge will result in an integrated in vitro and ex vivo service offering.
The objectives of the merger are to enable an increased service offering, improve geographical reach to optimize trans-Atlantic project capabilities and provide international regulatory support to new and existing clients. As leaders in providing tailored antimicrobial assays, customised biofilm methodologies and supporting clients through regulatory approval processes, we pledge our continued commitment to developing ‘fit for purpose’ experiments that mimic ‘real-life’ scenarios.
As you know, our laboratory offers UKAS accredited, GLP compliant services including biofilm, standard microbiology, fungal, cell culture, and viral testing, specialising in the wound care and medical device sectors. Our focus has always been developing custom-tailored support testing for our client’s product development/regulatory journey and we attribute our continued progress directly to the success of our clients.
The merger will allow Perfectus Biomed to continue providing high quality, customised microbiological testing services to clients, while also offering ex vivo testing models focused on preclinical infectious disease research. The merger offers exciting growth opportunities for both companies to strengthen and expand their service offerings, whilst better servicing clients with multinational needs. The new entity will bring on board additional experienced, PhD-educated employees who are dedicated to providing a high-quality service to clients globally.
Definitive agreements are expected to be completed over the upcoming weeks, after which further official information about the merger will be released. In the meantime, we remain focused on continuing to provide the quality of support you have come to expect from Perfectus Biomed, without interruption.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. We look forward to providing a more comprehensive biological service for your future projects.
