Perfectus Biomed value our hardworking, accountable and dedicated workforce: nurturing and supporting employees to progress and realise their potential through training, development opportunities and internal promotion at the heart of what we do.
The 5th March marks international Employee Appreciation Day, a time when employers can take the opportunity to recognise the contributions of their staff. We take time to appreciate our team everyday; from the ‘treat table’ full of doughnuts and Haribos in recognition of successful projects, pizza Fridays to celebrate achievements, quizzes that bring the team together and virtual coffee breaks that have helped stave off feelings of isolation during lockdown. In addition to other more formal benefits, which include Summer and Christmas Bonuses, we are proud to be an accredited Living Wage Employer.
The Living Wage Foundation is a UK organisation promoting a voluntary wage rate based on what people need to live supporting the idea that a “hard day’s work deserves a fair day’s pay.” The wage is independently calculated and reviewed in November every year to meet the real cost of living. Perfectus Biomed know that paying the Real Living Wage to our entry level employees values and motivates them. It also ensures a fulfilling life outside of work; we get to see people buy their first house in their 20s, save for weddings, splash out on a new car and take holidays of a lifetime. In a world of temporary contracts and the minimum wage, Perfectus Biomed are committed to employing permanent salaried staff – we do this because we want our workforce to feel appreciated, secure and that their contributions are well rewarded.
Employee Appreciation day was created for the purpose of strengthening the bond between employer and employee. Perfectus Biomed observes this day, our values and culture-led business supports our employees and clients, making us a great place to work today and into the future.
